Contractor accommodation in Retford

Two flats in one building work well for a crew. Everyone gets their own bed, the team can stay, park and eat out together, and there's a kitchen to cook a real meal after the shift and a washing machine for workwear.

Our Albert Road flats are about 8 miles from West Burton, a 15-minute drive, where demolition is under way and early works for STEP Fusion have started. See our West Burton accommodation. Retford also sits on the western side of the Trent valley, close to several large solar farm projects. See our solar farm accommodation in the Trent Valley.

All bills are included, and self check-in is from 4pm with 24/7 lockbox access, so late arrivals aren't a problem. For company bookings we send monthly invoices with your PO number, and most companies pay by bank transfer. Monthly rates are available on stays of 28 nights or more.

Somewhere to live while your home is repaired

If a flood, fire or leak means you can't live in your own home, we can give you a fully furnished flat in Retford for as long as the repairs take, from a few weeks to a year or more.

We can invoice the insurer, loss adjuster or agent directly, whichever suits them, and you have one point of contact the whole way through. We once housed an insurance accommodation client for 9 months after flood damage, with one team handling every query and change.

On stays of 14 nights or more you get a free mid-stay clean and fresh linen and towels.

Our Albert Road flats

Flat A is downstairs and sleeps 3, with a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. Flat B is upstairs and sleeps 3 with their own beds, or 4 if two share: it has a king-size bed that can be split into two singles on request, and a double bedroom. Each flat has a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.

Each kitchen has a fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and a pod coffee machine. Bed linen and towels are supplied, with an iron, hangers and wardrobe space, and we leave a welcome supply of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and washing machine tablets.

Parking and getting around

The flats share a wide driveway that takes two cars or two vans side by side. If your vehicle is bigger than a van, tell us before you book.

There's a well-stocked corner shop just round the corner, handy for breakfast, lunch and anything you've forgotten. Retford town centre and the train station are within walking distance, and the A1 is close by, with quick access to Doncaster, Gainsborough and Worksop.
